I know most of our kids are already out of school for the summer, but this idea is so good, maybe you'll want to use it for next year!
This is my daughter's pre-school teacher, Mrs. Rebecca. I adore her. So does Nina.
It's been so helpful! At Christmas, we were able to get her a special gift that I knew she would love (Barnes & Noble gift card), and we brought her favorite ice cream from Baskin Robbins for Valentine's Day.
For the end of the school year, Nina and I put together the cutest little Summer Survival Kit. We knew Mrs. Rebecca loves tea, so we started with a personalized travel mug (from a local shop in our little town).
We grabbed her favorite candy, some yummy tea, and a little summer tea towel she can hang in her kitchen.
I know I might be biased because I used to be one, but I just think that teachers deserve to be pampered! Mrs. Rebecca has been such a blessing to our family, and I hope that our gifts make her feel as special as she is.
Anyway, thought I would share in case any of you would like to steal this idea for the next school year!

That is an excellent idea! I'm so going to do that next year. I struggled so much with my oldest daughter's teacher's gifts at Christmas and end of year - a young guy. I ended up giving him gift cards to Starbucks (don't even know if he drinks coffee!) and a local book store. This would have saved me - thanks for the idea : )

Carrie that was a nice idea about filling out the paper and some great gifts. I don't have any little ones but I am going to share these ideas with my daughters for their kiddos. Thanks. blessings

That list is a GREAT idea, Carrie! It seems so simple yet I'm sure it proves (well, obviously it does) to be so helpful during the school year!
Carrie..this truly is such a simple but wounderful idea..
with three grands,it is not easy for their mom to give gifts to all the teachers..but having a list of favorites would certainly make gifting easier.
Love the Target bag..gotta go find one..for me!
warm sandy hugs..Loui♥
What a great idea! I am a teacher and I often get thoughtful gifts that I really can't use. How fun to get things you really want.
BTW, I love reading your blog.

What a great idea! I'm doing this list of questions next year. It's always so hard when it comes to gifts.
This was a wonderful gift and how much fun to give. I know she loved it and loves it still as she enjoys the many items that were just for her. Please don't forget your teachers. We work hard each day to cover all the bases. Nurse, friend, counselor and on and on. We love your kids so much. This year I received 1/2 doz. red roses with a wonderful sincere card and I'll remember it forever. I'll be able to push harder for each child because this family remembered me in this special way.
You are so thoughtful and generous! Great ideas, too :-)

I think I would have teared up if one of my students' parents had made a list like that for me! So thoughtful!
I love the idea of the list...I don't have kids, but I will definitely pass the idea along!
This is SUCH a cute idea! I love that you thought of the worksheet, so you can get the teacher things they ACTUALLY want! So creative!!
That is so lovely, I am a pre-school teacher and parents give us gifts, but never personalised ones like that! Very cute and im sure she will love it x
I love this idea! I was a daycare teacher for awhile, and even then, I was so surprised when I got gifts. But I loved it, teachers definitely deserve it, putting up with sometimes-crazy kids everyday!
Great ideas ~ love the questions. Who wouldn't be thrilled with a cute summer bag filled with your favorite goodies.

That turned out soooo cute! I totally agree -- I try to buy nice things for our teachers too. I recently came across these cute ideas:

I am keeping them in my "teacher" form file. I will add your idea too! Thanks for the tip!
As a teacher, I would LOVE this :) Such a sweet idea!
I would love a copy of this list....I cannot read the very top questions. Can you take another pic of the paper and post it! Great idea...I wish that I would have had this info about a month ago....
Thanks for sharing

That's a great idea! I saw those totes at Target today.
As a preschool teacher I would have LOVED this gift! For teacher appreciation week my parents got together and gave us treats each day. One parent found out our favorite Starbucks drinks and brought them. Another day they put together bag lunches for each of us with little personalized touches. I appreciated it all so much, just like I'm sure Mrs. Rebecca loved yours!
