*Updated to add: I got my vinyl monogram from this website! Great customer service, adorable four-pack of "G" letters for my monogramming obsession! Love it!
You all know I have a big ol' book where I keep torn-out pages of decorating inspiration. I am sure many of you have one too! I was flipping through it the other day and saw this adorable pitcher (and no, that is not a spelling error!) of artichokes in the April 2008 issue of Better Homes and Gardens.

ADORABLE!!!
I'm so sorry that I never got back to you about RR!!! I'm usually not a flakey person. Life is crazy right now....but that's no excuse. So sorry!
Such a cute project, I love the pitcher makeover!!!
This so great! I haven't experimented with the stick on letters yet. I'm afraid I'll get addicted and everything in my home will have a letter on it.
How did last night go?
So cute!! You constantly amaze me!!
Have a fun weekend!

I have a pitcher that stands empty - I LOVE this idea. I'm off to copy today.
That is fabulous! I need to get some decals to use on projects!
I love it! The pitcher, the decal, and the artichokes!
I have a "big 'o book" too... I really feel better knowing you have one too... made me think I'm not so crazy! And this idea is brilliant... #1 reproducing the idea from the magazine BUT #2 spray painting and adding the "G" -- took it to a whole. 'notha. level! Love it... ~ kim
So cute! I love the addition of the "G"!
Okay, so I'm a fan of paint, but I NEVER would have thought about painting a crockery pitcher! This is too cute!
What a cute idea!
OK< I am cracking-up b/c not only do I have a big book of ideas/inspiration I believe I have the same page torn out...with the ferns throughout the bookcase.Ha! I am just so happy you are back blogging! have a happy May Day
Very cute! I'm glad your craftiness is back.
I love it, It's better than a perfect match, you personalized it! Where do you find all your vinyl lettering???
One thing I love about blogging is that it has taught me to look beyond what something is to see what it could be. I think I have passed up a lot of great things because I didn't do this before. I never went to yard sales much and certainly not Good Will.
Love how you monogrammed the pitcher too. A nice touch!
Have a happy weekend.

The pitcher looks great repainted~ especially with the monogram decal.
I LOVE that! I've been seeing artichokes used in arrangements and such lately. They look so fresh and clean, especially paired with an adorable white pitcher like the one you re-purposed...with a monogram! LOVELY!
Hope you've had a great week!!
That's really cute! You could put different things in there for the different seasons...hydrangeas, pumpkins and sunflowers, winter greenery and berries. Oh, I'm so full of ideas for you. LOL
I think I have that same pitcher with the blue stripe. I think my mom gave it to me. I'll have to find it. I have no idea where it is.
As usual, it's great!

Now, I know that you are not an expert but...I have a jug that I want to paint (very similar to yours in this post), however I use the jug to wash my childrens' hair and it would therefore need to be waterproof. Would you recommend the paint that you used here? Thanks, Becki
