My Own Personal Bistro

Weird weather in Colorado lately. It's either been beastly hot, or raining. My back deck has not been a place of refuge, as it's alternately soaking wet or a blazing inferno!

However, when I have a precious few minutes and the kids are napping, I've been trying to get outside just to get a change of perspective. So much more refreshing than running around folding laundry or cleaning the house!

My front porch has a cute little bistro table that's in the perfect shady spot. Even just five minutes out here can change my day!

Most of the time this spot in my house sits forgotten. I'm so glad I've rediscovered it!

Darling spot, honey. I've been looking for front porch chairs that rock and are wrought iron. Maybe someone is having a sale somewhere today. I'll have to go check it out, right?! Wheeeeeeeee.....

That space oozes peace & quiet... and a book on your table, that is amazing! You actually get time to read, amen!

What a great little spot to enjoy. Here, we either have to be out early in the morning or late in the evening for it to even be bearable. It has been in the mid 100's this week which is WAY TOO HOT. I'm ready for Fall temps.!

What a lovely spot to relax. Just love your little bistro set. We "escape" outside to our back deck quite a lot in the warmer months.

Enjoy it while the weather allows! Have a great weekend.

We all need a "me" break, it's just finding the time. Glad to hear you have managed to steal a few moments, albeit brief moments. What a charming spot you have to take that time away from it all!

Very cute...but with two small kids I bet it's not used much...maybe at night!
