Check out this adorable project!
I started with faux pumpkins that I picked up at (where else?) Goodwill. It's just because I'm cheap, they have them at Michael's and Joann's and other places too. I like using faux pumpkins because, I don't know, I have a hard time doing projects that I know I won't be able to re-use year after year. But this would work just as well with real pumpkins!
Enter my ingredients: graphite paper, paint markers, pencil, and numbers printed off my computer (the font is Modern No. 20, in case you are wondering!)
Four little stair-step pumpkins. And unless you're looking, you can't tell them apart from my real pumpkins, which is good.
But they can come out to play every year!

First, I can't believe you found such fabulous pumpkins at Goodwill. But more importantly, those are just so cute! I'm clipping this to my evernote file.
Wow!! What great pumpkins!! I am going to try this, I already printed off my numbers, thanks for this great idea!!
So cute!! You are so clever! I need to make those -- the squirrels would have a tough time tearing those pumpkins up, wouldn't they!

Those are cute Carrie! I can't believe you found them at GW...!!
Very cute..
Those are so cute! You would be shocked to go into my Goodwill store. Once in a while I find a shirt or something that okay but never would I find pumpkins like that and those buckets you used in your son's room -- come on, you're Goodwill store must get all the good stuff!
That is perfect. I like the faux pumpkins too, they don't start to rot. I tied my pumpkins together with twine to designate how may grands in each family. If you look at my header one is hanging on to Papaw like she always does. Great idea.

We don't have a GW near us...so I am waiting patiently for Michaels to go lower than 60%. Do you think that will happen? I am so cheap! I love them numbered...maybe I'll do it to the real ones while we wait to carve them! Great directions!
