Hey everyone! Thanks for participating in my giveaway! I randomly selected a comment number, and it was Comment #22, which is...
I hope you all had a great Presidents' Day weekend. I'll be back later this week with more!
Marili Jean is a fantastic mama-owned company based in Colorado. I first met up with the owner while at a harvest festival with my family. She started the company in 2009 when she couldn't find anything stylish and practical for her own three kiddos. There I was, wandering the festival booths, when I spotted Marili Jean. I think it was this hat that got me:
Seriously? I bought Nina a hat on the spot. She was just barely three years old at the time, and now that she's four and a half, the hat still fits her. I love it!
So many cute options! She's got hats, headbands and barrettes. The one I bought for Nina is called the "Mini Diva," and it comes with a detaching flower barrette in the color of your choice. But if I ever have another baby girl, I think this one below is precious!
For this weekend's giveaway, Marili Jean is offering a $20 merchandise credit for one of my readers! Yippee! All you have to do to enter is head over to her website. Take a look around and then come back and let me know which hot little number you'd pick. And, if you'd like a second chance at winning, go become a fan of Marili Jean on Facebook. Then come back and tell me that you've done so in my comments, and you'll get another contest entry!
I know...I love Stella & Dot too!
I'm telling you, I love this stuff! It's very cute and unique, and I honestly feel like any one of these pieces would get a ton of use in my everyday wardrobe.
Mother's Day is coming up. (Big hint to the...um...two men I know who read this blog...my husband and my dad!) Perfect gift idea!
So here's how to win a generous $30 shopping credit to Stella & Dot. Go and check out Kelli's website, then come back and tell me what you would like to receive for yourself for Mother's Day. Now, I realize that we are all not yet mothers. Some of us are. Some of us aren't. Some of us are on our way to motherhood. And some of us haven't even dreamed that far yet. But one thing I know: we all love jewelry.
As you can see, she makes checkbook covers, zippered pouches of all sizes, and just about the sassiest laptop bags I've ever laid eyes on. How cute would I be, going to the coffee shop to do some blogging, carrying my laptop in this? (Oh, to have the freedom to go to the coffee shop, period. Without sippy cups and cheese sticks? Heaven!)
And when I saw these baby blankets (handmade, and in such fun colors!) I was totally sold. Don't you love that spring green?
To enter to win a $25 shop credit to shopgussy.com, just leave me a comment answering this question:What are your favorite types of posts to read on Buzzings of a Queen Bee? Tutorials? Before and after? Crafty stuff? Room decorating? Thrift store re-do's? Recipes? The giveaways? Or even a little dose of cuteness from my kiddos or a peek into my Colorado life?
...comment #55, given by Kara of Moddy's Thoughts, Prayers & Adventures. Congratulations, Kara! Email me at buzzingsofaqueenbee@hotmail.com so I can tell you how to claim your prize!

Anyway, let's get right to the winner of this giveaway! It's Sarah, of Nesting in Pleasant View! Sarah, and sweet baby Anna Claire, you can thank my husband, who chose comment #3, which was you! Please email me at buzzingsofaqueenbee@hotmail.com and I will give you the details of how to collect your $20 credit to the fantastic Marili Jean!
I fell so in love, in fact, that I did something I've never done before. I asked the owner of Marili Jean, the shop that sells these little numbers for girls and boys, if she would give one away on my blog!
I felt like a bit of a salesperson, and was afraid she would think I was some crazy lady just asking for free stuff, but luckily she gave me a chance!
Or this dinosaur? Love it!
Do you want to see which one I chose? I picked something for Henry, because, you know, he sends lots of mail. How cute is their packaging?
